Contributing to the ecological transition

Climate change
Our commitments :
Our commitments are set out in our environmental policy via the link above.
Our climate strategy:
Thermador Groupe and its subsidiaries are committed to fighting climate change.
Our climate strategy is based on the following pillars:
- Mitigating our carbon emissions and those of our value chain.
- Offsetting emissions that we cannot reduce in the short term.
- Adapting to the effects of climate change.
To mitigate our emissions, we are taking action in three areas:
- Reducing our own emissions across all three scopes.
- Offering our customers products and services that accelerate their transition.
- Encouraging all our stakeholders to commit to being part of the low-carbon transition.
To do this, we have been following an approach for several years that consists of measuring our impacts in order to better manage them. We have been measuring our carbon footprint since 2021.
Our reduction targets :
In 2021, we have set ourselves four key targets for reducing our CO2 emissions. The process of setting our targets is detailed in ESRS 2 in section 3.2.5 (Our commitments and 19 medium- and long-term priorities). Our approach is to commit ourselves to objectives that we have validated as potentially and realistically achievable, by calculating the actions and levers implemented. The time horizon chosen was 2030, with a milestone in 2025, which could be assumed by the Group’s current management.
Our action plan to mitigate our emissions :
- Enhancing our skills to strengthen the foundation of our climate strategy
- Making strategic choices
- Promoting eco-design of products
- Developing longevity and reparability
- Engaging our manufacturing partners
Our commitments are set out in our environmental policy via the link above.

Biodiversity
We have always been mindful of the environment around us and take care of the ecosystems surrounding our sites. We work closely with local stakeholders: municipalities, communities of municipalities, neighbors, and associations. For example, since 2015, APIE (Association Porte de l’Isère Environnement) has been supporting our subsidiaries in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier as part of a long-term partnership, providing the services of expert naturalists. The APIE’s three areas of focus are in line with our own: understanding the local area in order to preserve it, preventing and reducing environmental damage, and improving the living environment. In 2020, the Thermavert inter-subsidiary cross-functional group on the environment was created. In 2023, we drew up an internal biodiversity charter based on APIE recommendations. This charter lists the recommended actions for managing our green spaces to preserve local flora and fauna.
In line with the SNB (national biodiversity strategy), our work focuses on :
- Priority 1: Reduce pressures on biodiversity
- Priority 2: Restore biodiversity wherever possible
- 3: mobilize all players
