To be a responsible and committed player for our stakeholders

Our stakeholders
The subsidiaries of the Thermador Group operate within an environment comprising stakeholders who influence our activities. We prioritise open communication, transparency and active listening in all our economic and social relationships. This ongoing dialogue enables us to understand and incorporate their expectations into the Group’s strategic direction, operations and commitments.
Thermador Group identifies five key stakeholders:
- Employees, who contribute their labour, skills, expertise and interpersonal skills.
- Customers, whether distributors or end-users, who sustain the Group economically through their purchases.
- Investors, shareholders or bankers, who provide the capital necessary for investment, stability and growth.
- Suppliers and partners who provide the goods and services essential to our business.
- Public authorities, local authorities and regulatory bodies
Working conditions in our value chain and respect for human rights
The Group has implemented a range of measures designed to prevent potential negative impacts on workers throughout its value chain. It is actively committed to ensuring respect for human and social rights throughout its supply chain. This commitment is underpinned by long-term relationships with its suppliers, regular visits, and audits—whether conducted in-house or by third parties.
To strengthen the monitoring of compliance and responsible practices.
Our framework includes:
- An assessment tool incorporating CSR criteria
- A responsible procurement charter
- An audit-based monitoring system
- A whistleblowing mechanism
Tenders are subject to a selection process that includes acceptance of our responsible procurement charter, including provisions relating to human rights—such as forced labour—and labour standards based on International Labour Organisation conventions, the International Bill of Human Rights, and international human rights standards. Furthermore, as a member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2021, Thermador Groupe ensures compliance with fundamental human rights principles throughout its supply chain.

Supplier relations, responsible purchasing and trade
Our conduct in business is based on these simple principles: focusing on sustainability, the quality of the products or services offered, and ethical standards. As they provide us with the goods and services essential to our business, our suppliers are one of our key stakeholders. We strive to maintain long-term relationships built on trust and transparency. As a result, 21% of our purchases have been made from the same suppliers for over 40 years. To formalise these commitments, three of our key non-financial performance indicators are based on our relationships with our suppliers, and one of them is based on the percentage of turnover generated by subsidiaries certified to ISO 9001 or 14001. We remain committed to developing a rigorous Corporate Social Responsibility framework and to formalising the ethical conduct expected of all stakeholders through our Code of Conduct and our Responsible Procurement Charter.
Solidarity and philanthropy
The Group has drawn up a policy setting out the rules governing donations, patronage and sponsorship. It is available on our website. In 2019, we launched a Group-wide partnership with the Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation. In 2023, the Executive Committee decided to take this a step further by engaging all its subsidiaries in charitable work and establishing key themes linked to our long-standing partnerships and business activities: education, which is our long-standing focus; employee initiatives to support their involvement; and the circular economy, in line with our products. Through these various types of initiatives, our companies aim to provide financial or material support to charitable organisations and social, cultural or sporting activities in order to promote our values.
