Our social responsibility has been at the heart of our values and concerns since 1968. In 2012, for the first time, we talked about our CSR approach in our annual report and began to describe the initiatives and achievements of our employees and management teams in the areas of governance, the environment and social responsibility.
In 2021, the Executive Committee has selected 19 key indicators reflecting our commitments and the Group’s determination to be a long-term player by structuring its continuous improvement approach around priority issues.
They are structured around four key areas: governance, people, environment and society.
The horizons of 2025 and 2030 reflect the commitment of Thermador Groupe’s current management to the retirement of most of its members. These objectives have been discussed and challenged by the Sustainable Development Committee and presented to our Board of Directors.
Each priority is translated into a quantified target and tracked in our consolidated indicators, enabling everyone to monitor the evolution of our extra-financial performance.
This work has highlighted the need for human resources to carry out these action plans. In 2022, this led to the creation of a Sustainable Development Department at Executive Committee level.

Managing our CSR priorities and performance

The CSR performance of each Group subsidiary is the responsibility of its CEO. It is the result of consolidating the performance of each subsidiary, which works with its management committee to determine its own action plan. Exchanges of best practices help to standardize performance. Monitoring is carried out on a subsidiary-by-subsidiary basis, enabling each manager to compare his or her performance with that of his or her peers.

The variable remuneration of our corporate officers, subsidiary and Group managers, will henceforth depend on the results achieved for each priority.
