Our 19 key CSR priorities
In 2018, Thermador Groupe referred to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of its CSR strategy. Bellow is a summary of the 11 SDGs we selected.
Our material challenges
As part of the European CSRD directive, Thermador Groupe has carried out a double materiality analysis aimed at identifying and prioritizing the environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues that are most significant for our business.
This approach enables us to present the material issues that influence both our economic performance and the impact of our activities on society and the environment.
Our 19 key CSR priorities
Our commitments revolve around 2 major areas:
- The health, development and fulfilment of our teams.
- Protecting the planet, through our commitment to the climate, water resources and the circular economy.
Awareness-raising and cooperation with our partners in the value chain.
In 2021, the Executive Committee has selected 19 key indicators reflecting these commitments and the Group’s desire to be part of a long-term
structuring its continuous improvement approach around priority issues.
The Group’s medium- and long-term targets are 2025 and 2030 respectively.
This time horizon can be assumed by the Group’s current management team, given the age of its executive directors. Our bylaws specify an age limit of age limit of 69 for operational managers. These objectives were discussed and challenged by the Sustainable Development Committee, then presented to our Board of Directors.
This work led to the creation of a sustainable development department at the executive committee level in 2022 and the expansion of the team in 2024. Recognized CSR performance
Several of our subsidiaries asked EcoVadis to assess their CSR performance. Thermador Groupe responded to 5 extra-financial rating questionnaires, some of which came directly from investors.
With a view to transparency and openness, particularly towards investors and shareholders, Thermador Groupe also takes part in conferences dedicated to ESG issues.
