Since 1968, social responsibility has been at the heart of our values and priorities. In 2012, we discussed our CSR approach for the first time in our annual report and began describing the initiatives and achievements of our employees and management teams in the areas of governance, the environment, and social responsibility.

In 2021, the Executive Committee selected 19 key indicators reflecting our commitments and the Group’s determination to build a sustainable future by structuring its continuous improvement approach around priority issues.

These indicators are organized around four pillars: governance, people, the environment, and social issues.

The target dates of 2025 and 2030 reflect the commitment of Thermador Groupe’s current leadership until the majority of its members retire. These objectives were discussed and scrutinized by the Sustainable Development Committee and presented to our Board of Directors.

Each priority is translated into a quantifiable target and tracked through our consolidated indicators, enabling everyone to monitor the progress of our non-financial performance.

This work highlighted the need for human resources to successfully implement these action plans. Consequently, in 2022, a Sustainable Development Department was established at the Executive Committee level.

Managing our CSR priorities and performance

The CSR performance of each subsidiary within the group is the responsibility of its managing director. It is the result of consolidating the performance of each subsidiary, which works with its management committee to draw up its own action plan. Discussions on best practice help to standardise performance. Monitoring is carried out on a subsidiary-by-subsidiary basis, enabling each managing director to benchmark their performance against their peers.
